These sturdy bookends are made of Shisham wood, which is a rare wood with a smooth polished finish. Each wood bookend features a half armillary sphere with a ship wheel shaped bottom that is secured to the bookend. Each bookend also features a functional compass and a solid brass pen holder.
The corners of the wood bookend feature L-shaped brass fittings and rounded corners in the front. The bottom has a thin, green felt base.
